Every compound we supply is characterized two ways: by durometer, and by rheology (cure behavior, viscosity, how it actually processes). Hardness tells you what a compound is. Rheology tells you how it will run. We match on both, then direct the material accordingly.

Runs without surprises.
A cheap compound that scorches, flows wrong, or varies drum to drum isn't cheap. Because we blend to control variability and match material to application before it ships, you get feedstock that's consistent, appropriate to your product, and runs without surprises. And when you have a question, you talk to the person who matched your compound, not a queue.

Rubicon handles a broad scope of uncured and reprocessed material: uncured compound across a range of forms and qualities, non-productive and masterbatch sheet, butyl and innerliner compound, and friction streams, along with custom programs for specific needs.
